ABOUT REBOUND INJURY CLINIC

Rebound Injury Clinic has been set up and run by Shannon Byrne, BSc Hons Sports Therapy.

The Clinic is based in  a brand new, purpose built Sports Therapy room in Coolock, Dublin.
Giving Rebound the space, capacity and opportunity to treat you!

Rebound Injury Clinic offers a range of treatments at competitive rates, from Sports Therapy, Massage Therapy, Dry Needling, Sports Rehabilitation and so much more to insure recovery and prevention of injuries, aches and pains.

Shannon has achieved an Honors Degree (Bachelor of Science) in Sports Therapy, obtained from London Metropolitan University in 2020. Shannon is a member of the Society of Sports Therapists and the Irish Massage Therapy Association (Member No: 2075). Massage Treatments fulfilled by Shannon may be viable for rebates through Irish Life Health Insurance.

SHANNON BYRNE

Shannon has previous private practice experience where she treated anyone from athletes to desk workers, young and old, for a wide range of injuries. As well as this, she has worked pitch-side with football teams, volunteered as a therapist at Iron Man events, was lead therapist at the Women's Soccer Intervarsity Tournament 2023 and worked with world championship level dancers with a focus on improving flexibility and injury prevention. Shannon's experience and qualification (BSc in Sports Therapist) means she has the knowledge, ability and skills to provide immediate care of injuries through assessment, treatment and rehabilitation,.

 

Shannon's treatment approach is focused on manual therapy techniques like deep tissue massage, trigger point release, manual stretching, dry needling and joint mobilization. Injury prevention and rehabilitation are Shannon's main areas of interest and her passion lies in addressing the root of her clients' problems and using her skills to create lasting change.

NICOLE BRINDLE

Nicole graduated as Student of the Year from Portobello Institute with a First Class Honours, BSc in Sports Therapy accredited by London Metropolitan University. 

​

Her history includes working with athletes across various sports including soccer, hurling and Gaelic Football. Nicole is trained in a range of treatment modalities including deep tissue massage, dry needling, muscle energy techniques, mobilisations, electrotherapy and taping. She has a particular interest in ankle, knee and hip presentations and return to sport protocols. 

 

Prehab is better than Rehab - Nicole focuses on strengthening, mobility and maintenance as a treatment approach to prevent reinjury in the future.
